Experience

After writing for Image Comics' preview magazine Image+ from 2016 to 2018, Sam transitioned to writing for Comic Book Resources (CBR) in April 2018. Expanding his expertise to professionally covering film, television, and video games, Sam drew from a lifetime of his own interests and fandom to write news, columns, reviews, and interviews. Sam has since written for Looper, SVG, and Popverse, covering the biggest news and burning questions from the biggest projects in the entertainment industry. He has been writing for /Film since January 2023, in addition to Den of Geek and TVLine. Through his academic studies, Sam has learned to read, write, and speak in multiple languages and has worked as a translator on several titles published by Image Comics.

Education

Sam has earned an undergraduate degree in communication studies from Christopher Newport University. Sam has also earned a graduate degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University.
