A new show, aptly called Easter Eggs, brings together artists Ape Meets Girl (aka Kevin M. Wilson) and Vance Kelly for a little gallery featuring pieces that showcase a cavalcade or inside references to some of your favorite movies and TV shows. We exclusively debuted a couple pieces from this show earlier in the week, but now all of the pieces from the Hero Complex Gallery Easter Eggs art show are available online, including prints for Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Reservoir Dogs, Tombstone, The Crow, Planet of the Apes and more. Artists Ape Meets Girl (AKA Kevin M. Wilson) and Vance Kelly are teaming up for a special gallery show called Easter Eggs, and if you’re familiar with their artwork, like the Gremlins print we featured not too long ago, than you know exactly what to expect. Their artwork pays tribute not just to a single movie but dozens of movies by laying Easter eggs referencing other films throughout.

Hero Complex Gallery presented an art show last week titled “Quattro With A Shotgun,” a collaboration show featuring work from James Rheem Davis, Matt Ryan Tobin, New Flesh and Vance Kelly. The four artists worked for over a year on the art in the show, which is a celebration of Action, Science Fiction, Horror and Pulp screen prints.
