Now that Warner Bros. Pictures has pushed Tenet back to an unknown release date, Paramount Pictures is delaying some of their biggest movies scheduled for release later this year and bumping them back into 2021.
A Quiet Place Part II and Top Gun: Maverick, two anticipated sequels that would have already been in theaters by now but were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down movie theaters, are both being delayed until next year. That’s also resulted in a shift for the return of the Jackass franchise. Paramount has also beefed up their schedule for the next couple years with dates for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and the animated movies Under the Boardwalk and The Tiger’s Apprentice. Read More »

Paramount Pictures’ Top Gun: Maverick will see the superstar reprise his role of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in a theatrical sequel, and in addition to his old pal “Iceman” (Val Kilmer), this time he’ll be joined by big-screen veterans like Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris and a whole crop of younger actors to boot.

Top Gun: Maverick has enlisted another rising star to its crew. After years of teases and loose plans, Top Gun: Maverick is finally happening.
