Though Funko’s bread and butter is undoubtedly their signature POP! vinyl figures, their line-up has expanded to include vehicles that fit the trademark collectible toys. The Ghostbusters Ecto-1, the Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, and more have all been turned into what are called Funko POP Rides.
But there’s also the Funko POP Deluxe line, which gives some larger, more unconventional vehicles the POP treatment. The low-tech toy line created to tap into movie nostalgia before going on to become of the most popular blockbuster movie tie-ins is becoming a movie. Warner Bros. has reportedly begun development on a Funko! movie, based on the Funko Pop vinyl figurines and bobbleheads that depict everything from popular superheroes, to directors, to obscure TV procedural characters. So not only will these figurines invade Barnes and Nobles stores across the nation, they’ll begin to invade the movie theaters, too.

Last week, you might have been weirded out by Funko’s release of a certain set of action figures in their Savage World line-up that turned iconic slashers like Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees into post-apocalyptic, pulp fiction style action figures with some of the biggest muscles you’ve ever seen. The line is inspired by the classic Masters of the Universe figures from decades ago, and thankfully, a more appropriate brand name is getting the Savage World treatment for fans to collect.
