Big day for fans of kid toon troublemakers. Both Eloise and the U.K. version of Dennis the Menace (a totally different character than the blonde cherubic rascal we know in the States) are set to get live-action adaptations on both the big screen and small screen. MRC Films, the studio behind Knives Out, is developing a live-action Eloise movie, while British company Beano Studios is pitching a live-action series of Dennis the Menace which will be a “darker” teen-led take on the character (again, not the same Dennis the Menace as in the States).
