When I walked out of Universal’s teen comedy Blockers earlier this year, it seemed clear that actress Geraldine Viswanathan had a bright future. She was one of the funniest performers in a film full of funny people, so I’m glad to already see her popping up in another movie in 2018.
This one is called The Package, a Netflix teen comedy about a group of friends who go camping in the woods during spring break. But they soon realize that they need to save their idiot friend, who has accidentally cut off his own dick. Yep, all of a sudden that title makes sense. Watch The Package trailer below. Read More »
The Morning Watch is a recurring feature that highlights a handful of noteworthy videos from around the web. They could be video essays, fanmade productions, featurettes, short films, hilarious sketches, or just anything that has to do with our favorite movies and TV shows.
In this edition, watch Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers star Jason David Frank return as an evil version of the Green Ranger in the comic book event trailer, Power Rangers: Shattered Grid. Plus, watch the stars of Workaholics improvise a PowerPoint presentation that they’re not prepared for, and learn somethings you might not have know about the alien puppet sitcom ALF. Read More »
With Netflix releasing over 700 new original movies and TV programs throughout 2018, they’ve got tons of stuff to unveil every week. Later this month, we’ll be getting a new comedy by the gang from Comedy Central’s series Workaholics.
Game Over, Man! is a new action comedy starring Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson as waiters at an high-rise hotel who get caught up in dangerous sitaution when terrorist busts into an upscale party, takes hostages and demands a hefty sum of money for them to be rescued. It’s up to these three hotel employees to save the day, and as the new Netflix Game Over Man trailer shows, they’re not exactly a trio of John McClanes. Read More »
Workaholics, the quintessential Comedy Central slacker comedy that helped to launch the careers of Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson, went off the air last year, but its creator-stars will grace our screens once again in a hilariously dumb Netflix action-comedy.
In Game Over, Man! Devine, Holm, and Anderson team up once again — but instead of getting into office-related shenanigans, they’re pitted against bonafide terrorists who threaten a hotel full of hostages, their potential video game benefactor, and worst of all, Jamaican-American musician Shaggy.

The Comedy Central series Workaholics came to an end earlier this year after a seven-season run, but the comedy’s stars aren’t going away any time soon. Adam DeVine just hosted the MTV Movie and TV Awards this past weekend, and he and former co-stars Anders Holm and Blake Anderson have a new movie in the works at Netflix. It’s called Game Over, Man!, and you can check out the first teaser trailer below.

If it seems like we’ve been pushing a lot of Dope trailers the past couple months, that’s because we firmly believe that everyone needs to see this fantastic indie teen comedy when it hits theaters starting next week.
The sensation from the 2015 Sundance Film Festival is a refreshing coming-of-age adventure from the inner-city, and it’s the kind of indie we always hope to discover on the festival circuit. So here we are with a second red band trailer showing off the lively and fun film from writer and director Rick Famuyiwa. Imagine taking Superbad and setting it in tough, urban Los Angeles, and you begin to have an idea of what Dope is like, but it also stands on its own merits. Watch the second Dope red band trailer after the jump! Read More »
The first teaser trailer for Dope was a blast of images and internet-ready gags, but it didn’t do much to tell anyone about the film itself. This full Dope trailer is much more oriented towards showing off just how jam-packed this movie is — it’s the story of three high-school friends trying to survive their Inglewood neighborhood and get into college. But things get complicated for main guy Malcom (played wonderfully by Shameik Moore) thanks to a girl (Zoe Kravitz), a dealer (A$AP Rocky), some drugs, and a whole bunch of other potential issues. Check out the trailer below. Read More »

Sure, it’s got noble warriors, a vicious villain, a graceful queen, and an old, bitter feud, but the most epic thing about Epic may be the voice cast. Amanda Seyfried leads as Mary Katherine, an ordinary girl who somehow gets shrunk down and finds herself involved in the grand yet very, very tiny battle between the protectors and the destroyers of the forest.
The characters she meets along the way are voiced by the likes of Christoph Waltz, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd, Blake Anderson, Steven Tyler, Beyoncé Knowles, and Pitbull. Jason Sudeikis voices her father. The latest trailer makes sure the emphasize just how many celebrities have gone into the making of this movie. Watch it after the jump.

A star-studded cast works wonderfully as a marketing gimmick, but as films like New Year’s Eve and Movie 43 have proven, it’s no guarantee of quality. Fortunately, Blue Sky Studios’ animated adventure Epic seems to have a little more going for it.
Amanda Seyfried voices Mary Katherine, a normal girl who gets caught up in an old and bitter battle between the protectors of the forest (voiced by Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, and others) and the destructive forces led by Mandrake (Christoph Waltz). Beyoncé, Pitbull, Steven Tyler, Judah Friedlander, Aziz Ansari, and Blake Anderson also star. Watch the second trailer after the jump.
