Universal Studios Hollywood’s Jurassic Park attraction was in dire need of an upgrade, and it’s finally getting one in the form of Jurassic World – The Ride, a revamped version of the old attraction which will incorporate elements from the new movies. That revamp includes a new addition that allows the ride to respond to inclement weather – something I’ve never seen done in a theme park ride before.
And thanks to a new press release, we know the new ride will also incorporate actors from those films: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong are reprising their roles. Read More »

When Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt return for Jurassic World 2, they may find themselves joined by another familiar face. Producer Frank Marshall has hinted that B.D. Wong will be back as Dr. Henry Wu in the J.A. Bayona-directed sequel, which recently added new stars Toby Jones and Rafe Spall. Read More »
I stopped watching Gotham after the first season, but people I know and trust have told me the show has gotten a lot better in the second season as they’ve evolved in to a more serialized show. The Fox crime drama is set to return later this month (Monday, February 29) and we’ve begun to learn more about the upcoming episodes. Last week we learned that Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Fish Mooney will return to Gotham for a few episodes, and now we have our first look at Jurassic Park and Mr. Robot’s B.D. Wong as Batman villain Dr. Hugo Strange. See the first Gotham Hugo Strange photo, after the jump.

As of now, Jurassic World is the biggest movie of the year. That might change this winter once Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters, but for now Universal Pictures is having a huge year at the box office, so we’ll let the studio bask in that glory for awhile.
This fall, fans will be able to bring home the Indominus Rex when the movie hits Blu-Ray and DVD on October 20. (Or you can get it on Digital HD a bit earlier on October 1st.) Universal is teasing all the special features that will be available on the home video release, showing the making of Jurassic World. There’s a collection of eight short featurettes you can watch below! Read More »
Jurassic World dominated the box office this past weekend, raking in over $511 million worldwide making it the #1 global opening of all-time. And over the weekend we told you that Chris Pratt is already signed on for the inevitable Jurassic World sequels. We have a lot of clues as to what Jurassic World 2 might be about and who might be involved, and we know Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has said that he won’t be back in the director’s chair.
When I spoke with Trevorrow last week I learned the details on why he isn’t returning to direct Jurassic World 2, how he will remain involved in the franchise, who might helm the second film and how he went about setting up future Jurassic World sequels in his film both plot-wise and thematically. I also get a Jurassic World 2 update from producer Frank Marshall.

The following interview comes from Courtney Howard:
Actor B.D. Wong has played an assistant to a flamboyant wedding planner (Father of The Bride), a mobster (Mystery Date), and, for eleven years, a psychologist (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit). He also won many awards, including a Tony, for his breakout role in the play M. Butterfly. Now, with director Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, he’s slipping back into the lab coat of a character he originated twenty-two years ago in director Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. Dr. Henry Wu has returned – and he’s created bigger, badder, bolder dinosaurs this time around.
At the film’s recent press tour, we spoke with Wong over the phone about everything from being the only character in the franchise to return, to the level of secrecy around the film, to how to nail tongue-twisting dialogue perfectly. Read the BD Wong Jurassic World interview after the jump.
