  • Jeff has spent a good deal of his life analyzing, critiquing and writing about motion pictures on sites such as Looper, and For him, films aren't just an enjoyable pastime, but something to be explored, admired, and appreciated for their rich creativity and depth.
  • Jeff spent much of his youth basking in the beautiful sounds of composers such as James Horner, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Jerry Goldsmith. He remains passionate about film scores and currently spends far too much of his money collecting out-of-print CDs and records.
  • Jeff also enjoys kicking back and watching the occasional TV show, particularly during the current high point in the medium's history. Recent shows that have caught his attention include Midnight Mass, Ted Lasso, and Yellowstone.


As a member of a military family, Jeff spent his childhood traveling all over the United States. As such, the one constant in his young life were films and motion picture soundtracks. An early exposure to Steven Spielberg's Jaws and Richard Donner's Superman: The Movie quickly captured Jeff's imagination and set him on a journey to study and understand the magical world of cinema. Since then, he has gone on to study literature and write for various online outlets, including and Looper. He is also an ardent Seattle Seahawks and Utah Jazz fan, a devoted father of two, and a husband in a constant state of improvement.


Jeff attended Dixie State College where he studied English Literature and learned a great deal more about motion pictures as an art form. He then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Benedictine University Mesa, which allowed him to learn more about the field of marketing and graphic design.
