toy story 2

Disney announced at their ShoWest presentation that Pixar’s Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be released as a 3D double feature on October 2nd 2009. The 2 week only limited engagement is being called a “great value” in these economically challenging times. No word on what price theaters will charge for the double feature. Disney originally had the first Toy Story 3D rerelease scheduled for October, and the second one set for February. Disney also premiered updated logos for Toy Story and Toy Story 2 which feature a greater 3D bevel and more reflective elements, but for the most part, look the same. Toy Story 3 is still scheduled for a June 18th 2010 release.
