Since it’s upfronts week for all the major TV networks, plenty of news about all your favorite shows has been hitting the web recently. Last week brought a slew of cancellations and renewals for shows on ABC and NBC, and now we have an update on the fate of a bunch of shows over at FOX and CBS.
If you’re having trouble keeping up with all the renewals and cancellations so far, don’t worry, because we’ll have a round-up of which shows are returning, and which ones have been given the axe. Joel McHale was on a Television Critics Association panel this morning for his new CBS sitcom The Great Indoors. After the panel, McHale spoke with reporters further and talked about the shelved Star Wars Detours animated series, his possible return for more X-Files and playing Chevy Chase in A Futile & Stupid Gesture.

Now that Supergirl‘s flown over to The CW and Rush Hour‘s been cancelled, what reason will you have to keep tuning into CBS this fall? The network has unleashed trailers for a slew of new shows they’re hoping will catch your eye, including a different kind of superhero show (MacGyver), another film-to-TV remake (Training Day), a new Jason Katims drama (Pure Genius), a new Joel McHale comedy (The Great Indoors), and two separate, unrelated comedies about working-class men forced to spend time at home (Kevin James‘ Kevin Can Wait and Matt LeBlanc‘s Man With a Plan).
