Jurassic World 3 Cast

Fans are already excited about the prospect of Jurassic World 3 bringing back original Jurassic Park cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum. It’s the first time they’ve all appeared in a Jurassic Park movie since the first one in 1993. But don’t forget, there are new characters from the Jurassic World franchise who are still alive and kicking, and two young characters introduced in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have been confirmed to return.

Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu) and Daniella Pineda (The Detour) will return to reprise their respective roles as the panicky systems analyst Franklin Webb and hacker Zia Rodriguez, both previously employed by Claire Dearing’s Dinosaur Protection Group. Read More »

jurassic world 3 original characters

When Colin Trevorrow brought dinosaurs back from extinction (again) with 2015’s Jurassic World, it marked a new chapter for the science fiction monster franchise, paying homage to Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic while bringing the series into a new era with new leads played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

But last month, we learned that the original Jurassic Park trio, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum, will be returning to run with the reptiles once again. And there’s a reason that the three of them will be united onscreen for the first time in 26 years, Trevorrow recently revealed.

jurassic world cast

There are a few facts of life: God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, Man brings back dinosaurs, dinosaurs eat man, and Jurassic World 3 brings back Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum to clean up the mess.

The original Jurassic Park stars are coming back for another go-around with the prehistoric reptiles as part of the Jurassic World 3 cast as their iconic characters as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant, and Dr. Ian Malcolm, respectively. Goldblum appeared in a brief cameo as our favorite chaotic mathematician in 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but all three original stars are now confirmed to be playing key roles in the Colin Trevorrow-directed Jurassic World 3.

Jurassic World 3 Details

The end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom teased the idea that dinosaurs roaming around in the world without restrictions would be a big part of Jurassic World 3. However, according to director and writer Colin Trevorrow, fans shouldn’t expect to see dinosaurs attacking cities and neighborhoods like Rise of the Planet of the Apes or some kind of Godzilla movie.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Jurassic World 3 won’t take dinosaurs into cities and suburbs. After all, we already got that in The Lost World: Jurassic Park when a tyrannosaurus rex was let loose in San Diego, and it really tainted the sequel. So if we’re not going to see a big dinosaur monster movie in Jurassic World 3, then what can we expect? Read More »

Making of Jurassic World

A couple weeks ago, I met up with co-writer and producer Colin Trevorrow in an empty hotel lobby to talk about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. I had planned a traditional interview, but it being the night after the film’s Hollywood premiere, Trevorrow seemed excited to finally dive into spoilers. So my interview plans took a sharp right turn and I threw out most of my non-spoiler questions.
