We’ve all chuckled when a terrible movie throws out a line of dialogue that seems to sum up our own dismissal of the film perfectly. That idea is the inspiration for a video that uses dialogue from some of the worst films of 2014 to review the films themselves.
While there’s a movie or two in here that might not quite be among the year’s worst (Monuments Men is too optimistic to really hate, I’d argue, even if it does squander a great cast and premise) there’s nothing quite as apt as seeing dialogue from A Million Ways to Die in the West, Dracula Unbound and, yeah, Winter’s Tale (above) repurposed to talk about the films themselves. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been craving a good tornado movie. Not something dumb with sharks or whatever, but something that at least tries to be realistic and scary. That craving is so bad, I get legitimately excited when Twister is on TV. Well, thank the clouds, New Line’s upcoming tornado film Into the Storm is almost here.
Directed by Steven Quale (Avatar), it stars Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) in the story of what happens to a small town when one of the worst storms ever hits. WonderCon 2014 happened over the past Easter weekend, and the /Film crew was in attendance to take in all the movie studio presentations and give you our reactions to the footage. Unfortunately most of the footage had already been screened at other industry events like CinemaCon, but it was new for us and the site as we didn’t travel to Vegas this year. After the jump you can watch Russ, Germain and I talk about the footage we screened at the Warner Bros panel, which included an extended sequence from Godzilla and a short clip from Into The Storm. Because we haven’t been through enough crazy weather events so far this year, Warner Bros. has just unleashed its first Into the Storm trailer. When a barrage of cyclones hits the small town of Silverton, a group of thrill-seeking storm chasers head out into the chaos to try and document this once-in-a-lifetime meteorological event.
Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield from The Hobbit) stars, along with Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), Matt Walsh (Veep), and Jeremy Sumpter (TV’s Friday Night Lights). Watch the trailer and check out the new poster after the jump.

Just as next year’s real-life tornado season winds down, Warner Bros. will unleash a twister of its own The studio has just set an August release for Into the Storm, formerly titled Black Sky or Category Six.
