Cool Stuff: Classic Movie Poster-Inspired Cover Art for ‘Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth’

Marvel illustrator Arthur Suydam is no stranger to homage covers — his Wikipedia page is basically one long list of such covers for the Marvel Zombies series and others. But the ones that really piqued our interest are these tongue-in-cheek covers for Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth, which reference well-known movie posters. The comic series ran for thirteen issues between June 2009 and July 2010, and has since been collected into a hardcover that was released last fall. Check out the covers after the jump.
