After making a huge splash by bringing his small screen character Borat to the big screen in one of the most unique and hilarious comedies of the past 20 years (despite endless quotes from everyone nearly ruining it), Sacha Baron Cohen hasn’t exactly captured the magic of that feature film outing, but he’s not giving up.
The latest comedy from the creator and star of Da Ali G Show is The Brothers Grimsby, a conventional action comedy starring Mark Strong as one of the greatest spies working today, who suddenly finds his career and life in jeopardy when his estranged, screw-up of a brother shows up to reconnect with him. The Brothers Grimsby, or Grimsby, depending on which side of the Atlantic you call home, certainly sounds amusing enough. Mark Strong is England’s top spy, an unstoppable James Bond type with all of the skills you’d find in a movie action hero. Sacha Baron Cohen is his loser brother, a disgusting soccer hooligan. Naturally, the two of them are thrust together to save the world from a villainous plot of some kind. By the time The Brothers Grimsby opens up next spring, it will have been six years since Sacha Baron Cohen starred in a movie, though he did have a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. And this time, he’s bringing Mark Strong with him for the extremely British action comedy.
A new The Brothers Grimsby trailer has just arrived, and this time it doesn’t just show how Cohen screws everything up for his previously estranged government assassin brother, but also how he tries to help him by giving him a place to hide out. Beware that although this isn’t a red band trailer, you do see Cohen’s bare butt with a firework sticking out of it. Read More »

A few weeks ago, Marvel Studios hit Jimmy Kimmel Live with the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War. Shortly afterward, Warner Bros. followed suit with the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now it’s Sony’s turn, and they’ve brought… The Brothers Grimsby?
The action-comedy directed by Louis Leterrier stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Mark Strong as brothers separated at childhood. Sebastian (Strong) grew to be an elite MI6 agent, while Nobby (Baron Cohen) became a small-town soccer hooligan. When Nobby finally tracks down Sebastian, he accidentally sets off a chain of events that send the brothers on the run. Watch The Brothers Grimsby trailer after the jump. Read More »
