The cast of Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk TV series on Disney+ is taking shape. Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) is playing the lead role of Jennifer Walters, an attorney with an appearance and powers similar to that of Bruce Banner, who just so happens to be her cousin. Now we have word that she’ll be joined by Hamilton co-star Renée Elise Goldsberry. Read More »
Marvel’s WandaVision is already playing with television in a compelling way by putting a mystery right in the middle of an evolving family sitcom. But Marvel Studios will dig into more uncharted territory with their superhero characters by delivering a half-hour legal comedy in the form of She-Hulk. The series will be led by Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, and now Kidding actress Ginger Gonzaga has been brought on board the cast. Who is she playing? We have a couple guesses. Read More »
What kind of Disney+ series could we expect out of She-Hulk, a giant green lady who often shows a preference for power suits over super-powered fights? Meet She-Hulk: Tatiana Maslany. The Orphan Black star has joined the Disney+ show as the eponymous green-hued lawyer/superhero. Maslany’s casting comes on the heels of the announcement that Kat Coiro would be directing several episodes of the show, including the pilot. Peter Berg’s Patriots Day earned solid reviews when it hit theaters last year, but the way that movie invented a single character who appeared at all of the major turning points of the 2013 Boston bombing struck me as disingenuous.
Now, director David Gordon Green is here with Stronger, a film that tells the true story of one of the bombing’s survivors, Jeff Bauman, played here by Jake Gyllenhaal. To me, this looks like a much better way of approaching the topic, and it looks like an emotional, inspiring story about overcoming adversity and personifying the term “Boston Strong.” Check out the first Stronger trailer below.

It’s the fifth and final season of Orphan Black, and the clones are uniting to fight for agency over their lives and their bodies.
It’s been a long, twisted, and bloody road for the clones — who I often forget are all played by the infinitely talented Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany — who have for four seasons been fighting against DYAD, the shadowy science corporation that created them, the religious extremist group the Proletheans, and themselves. But in the trailer for season 5, the core four are finally rallying together in a show of unity — even if many of them are still physically separated since we last saw them.

For a lot of actors, starring in an intense romantic drama set in the Arctic would seem like hard work. For Tatiana Maslany, it probably feels like a vacation since she gets to play just the one character. Two Lovers and a Bear stars the Orphan Black actress as one of the lovers and Dane DeHaan as the other. There is an actual, literal bear in this movie, too, but this might be one of those situations where the real bear is their troubled past or something like that.
Two Lovers and a Bear is the new movie by Kim Nguyen, the Canadian director of War Witch. Check out the Two Lovers and a Bear trailer after the jump. Read More »

After a couple of cryptic teasers, BBC America’s Orphan Black has finally served up a proper trailer for season 4. Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, and Tatiana Maslany return to lead the sci-fi drama, which also stars Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, and Tatiana Maslany.
