The home video release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be chock full of special features that dive into the making of the movie. Not only is director Rian Johnson providing commentary, but there will be a feature length documentary going behind the scenes of the film’s production. But since that won’t be available until next month, a new 26-minute documentary short about the sound design and sound mixing done for the film will have to hold us over.
ABC News was given extensive access to Skywalker Sound, and they’ve put together a fascinating and revealing documentary called The Force of Sound that dives into the creation of the sound effects for a movie that is literally out of this world in a galaxy far, far away.
