SuperMansion season 3 won’t arrive until next year, but you can get a taste of one new episode with the Halloween special SuperMansion: Drag Me To Halloween now available to stream on Crackle. SuperMansion creators Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells spoke with /Film about the special, upcoming season, and Robot Chicken.
Robot Chicken also has a Halloween special, Robot Chicken: Look Who’s Walking, a Walking Dead spoof premiering October 8 at midnight on Adult Swim. Season 9 of Robot Chicken will premiere this year.

We’re still recovering from the insanity that is San Diego Comic-Con. Because there are so many movies and TV shows that get promoted at the massive pop culture convention, we simply don’t have the time to report on each and every one of them by attending all the panels that unfolded. But we still wanted to highlight some of the big shows with new footage to show off for fans.

Just yesterday brought word that Man of Steel and Watchmen director Zack Snyder has been considering making a movie about George Washington in the style of 300. Inspired by the fact that many of the paintings of the American Revolution hero aren’t far removed from the style of Frank Miller’s graphic novel, Snyder doesn’t think it would be too hard to make that movie.
However, it’s not exactly an original idea. In fact, back in 2009, the folks over at Robot Chicken predicted that the filmmakers behind 300 would tackle the story of the Revolutionary War with a flick called 1776. Over on Adult Swim, the stop-motion comedy of Robot Chicken has taken on nearly every facet of pop culture, all with the help of action figures. Now the series from Seth Green and Matt Senreich will return to the world of comic books with their third special focusing on the characters of DC Comics.
Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: A Magical Friendship is coming in October, and the first trailer for the special premiered at Comic-Con. But now it’s available online for your viewing pleasure, complete with some familiar voices for those who grew up on the classic 1960s version of Batman and Robin.

While it was anyone’s guess who’d win the Super Bowl last night, the movie awards ceremonies this weekend were more predictable. Argo continued its steamroll through awards season, picking up a DGA award for Ben Affleck to go with the film’s earlier PGA, SAG, and Globes victories, while PGA winner Wreck-It Ralph took the top prize at the Annies.
Oscar favorites Searching for Sugar Man and Paperman also proved popular on the movie front, as did Jay Roach, Rian Johnson, and Lena Dunham in the small-screen world. Hit the jump to read the winners.
