Streaming Chappelle's Show

A bunch of Comedy Central programming recently journeyed over to CBS All Access, in addition to being available on Hulu. Now a selection of some of the network’s best programming will also be made available on HBO Max starting next month.

HBO Max has announced that the sketch comedy shows Chappelle’s Show, Key & Peele, and Inside Amy Schumer will be joining their streaming library on November 1, 2020. Joining them will be the COPS parody Reno 911! and the brilliant documentary series satire Nathan for You. The mobile streaming platform has gotten off to a shaky start, with disappointing download numbers, accusations of plagiarism, and unimpressed reviews of the new short-form service. Quibi Reno 911 Trailer

After 11 years off the air, Reno 911! is coming back for an all-new season. However, the show won’t be arriving in the form of 22-minute episodes like when it was airing on Comedy Central. Instead, the forthcoming bite-sized entertainment subscription service Quibi is reviving the series with episodes arriving in roughly 10-minute increments. Break out your short shorts, because Reno 911! is officially back from the dead. The latest in a long line of cancelled or concluded shows to be resurrected in the streaming era, Reno 911 season 7 is heading to Quibi, the yet-to-launch mobile viewing platform which aims to provide episodic short form content in approximately 10-minute chunks. And there’s good news for longtime fans of this series: creator/stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Thomas Lennon are all attached to come back to star in and write the new episodes.
