Halloween fans and Paul Rudd completists have reason to rejoice today. September of this year will see the release of a complete Halloween blu-ray box set from Anchor Bay and Scream Factory.
For the first time ever, there will be a single box release collecting Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, Halloween: Resurrection, and Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II.
In this case “complete” isn’t a term being used lightly. The box will feature not only all ten major Halloween releases, but also one of the rarest items in the Halloween catalog: the “Producer’s Cut” of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Meyers. This “producer’s cut” is an alternate version of the film that was also the big-screen debut of Paul Rudd, and features quite a few scenes that aren’t in the theatrical release.
