Despite The Final Destination being touted as the last film in the series, that didn’t stop Warner Bros./New Line from greenlighting Final Destination 5, so why the heck would it stop them from greenlighting several more? The studios are clearly determined to milk this cash cow dry, and their only motivation to stop is if the franchise meets its own pitiful death at the box office.
Such is the state of affairs made clear by a recent interview with Tony Todd, whose amusingly macabre, ominous presence is returning to the series for the first time since Final Destination 2.
