He’s been tasked with gathering proof that the island’s owner, Han – a former member of Lee’s Shaolin temple, who disgraced the temple’s legacy by using its lessons purely for his own benefit – is running drugs and a prostitution ring.
Why It’s Essential Viewing: This is one of the best martial arts movies of all time. It’s been on my list of things to see for probably 20 years now, but since it’s leaving Netflix at the end of this month, I finally sat down to check it out – and I was not disappointed. Read More »

Normally, I devote this column to several new releases. But the Criterion Collection release of Bruce Lee: His Greatest Hits deserves its own special consideration. There are five films included, and a hefty amount of special features. But more than that, this box set is a great introduction to what made Bruce Lee such a special performer, and why his legacy lives on to this day.

If you’re in the market for some cool new pop culture prints, today is your lucky day. Both Mondo and Bottleneck Gallery have a couple of new prints each inspired by a few movies that have plenty of fans.
Matt Taylor has an awesome new print for Star Wars: The Force Awakens featuring the Millennium Falcon traveling through hyperspace (teased above), while another print for the new installment of the saga also comes from Adam Relf. Meanwhile, over at Mondo there’s a new A Clockwork Orange print from Rory Kurtz as well as one for Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon by Jock.
