Stylish, divisive filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn is making the leap from the big screen to the small with the upcoming Amazon series Too Old to Die Young, and Refn recently took to Twitter to announce his full cast. The Amazon series, which finds Refn teaming with comic book writer Ed Brubaker, is described as a crime thriller that will “explore various characters’ existential journeys from being killers to becoming samurai in the city of angels.” The full Too Old to Die Young cast is revealed below.

Callie Hernandez was on a Television Critics Association panel for the upcoming Epix original series Graves this weekend. Since I had just seen her in Blair Witch at Comic-Con, I approached Hernandez after the panel for an interview. She was also coming off of Alien: Covenant. “I just finished shooting in June,” Hernandez told me.
Describing Alien: Covenant, Hernandez told me how director Ridley Scott employed practical sets to simulate the intensity of the space mission. “The sets are very real,” Hernandez said. “You’re in this built ship and then he’s like [in British accent], ‘Turn on the hydraulics.’ Then you’re like, what is he talking about? With cameras set to roll on Alien: Covenant soon, it looks like the final pieces of this mysterious project are starting to fall into place. Director Ridley Scott‘s follow-up to 2012’s Prometheus has added four new names to its cast, which means that we probably now have a list of actors who we’ll get to see eviscerated by Xenomorphs in 2017.
