Timothée Chalamet owes a lot to his Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino. Not only did the Italian filmmaker’s 2017 film launch the star into the stratosphere and turn him into both an arthouse darling and a new Hollywood heartthrob, Guadagnino was one of the first directors to really know how to work with Chalamet’s particular movie star appeal.

So it’s no wonder that the two are teaming up to work together again, this time on a cannibal romance, Bones and All. See the Bones and All first look, which shows Chalamet down to skin and bones as a disenfranchised drifter (but not the aforementioned cannibal).

Bones and All cast

This week, Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino began production on his first movie shot in the United States. It’s called Bones and All, and it stars Timothée Chalamet (Little WomenDune) and Taylor Russell (Waves, Lost in Space) as two lovers traveling across the country. But Guadagnino has just added a whole slew of additional actors to the cast, and while there are some terrific names among them, one name stands out as a slightly odd choice: David Gordon Green, the director of movies like Pineapple Express and 2018’s Halloween. The Call Me By Your Name team might reunite. Luca Guadagnino is eyeing a new movie with Timothée Chalamet, with Waves breakout Taylor Russell also circling a role. The film is titled Bones & All which, despite the title, will not involve fellow Call Me By Your Name star and unconfirmed cannibal Armie Hammer.
