Y The Last Man cast

Earlier this year, the seemingly impossible happened: FX actually ordered a pilot for a TV adaptation of writer Brian K. Vaughn and artist Pia Guerra‘s beloved comic book Y: The Last Man. The project had been kicking around Hollywood for over a decade, flirting with a movie version several times before eventually finding a suitor on television at FX.

Now the Y The Last Man cast has been announced, and American Animals star Barry Keoghan has been tapped to play the male lead. In addition, Diane Lane (Justice League) has joined the cast in a key role as a Senator, and we also know who will play Agent 355, the lead’s sister Hero, and more. House of Cards Final Season

Netflix’s political drama series House of Cards is being shaken up after the firing of Kevin Spacey following sexual misconduct allegations. The show is entering its final season, and without Spacey returning as Frank Underwood, the show will instead focus on Robin Wright as his wife Claire Underwood. However, some new faces will be joining the production as well.

At the age of 81, Eleanor Coppola, wife of Francis Ford Coppola, has made her feature narrative directorial debut, Paris Can Wait. Of course, she co-directed Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse, in which she gave us some unforgettable, up-close and personal moments from the disastrous Apocalypse Now shoot. Her new feature film, Paris Can Wait, is considerably lighter in tone compared to her famous doc.

Justice League Cast

Since we’re coming to the end of 2016, movie studios are starting to push a preview of what’s in store for the big screen in 2017, especially on the blockbuster front. It’s going to be another crowded summer, but one of the more anticipated movies of the year won’t be arriving until this fall, and that’s Justice League. But that’s not stopping Warner Bros. Pictures from stirring up some hype.

Even though we have still a little under 11 months away from the release of Justice League, the studios included mention of the movie in their 2017 movie preview press kit. Within their brief bit of information on the superhero ensemble movie, they included one cast member who hadn’t yet been confirmed by the studio, and one that we hadn’t heard of at all yet.

Trumbo trailer

Although Bryan Cranston‘s been plenty busy over the past few years, he hasn’t actually been seen in a lead role onscreen since Breaking Bad. So it’s nice to see him take the spotlight again in Trumbo, Jay Roach‘s drama about Hollywood at the height of anti-Communist fervor.
