Just yesterday, we learned that Deadpool 2 would still very much be a solo adventure for the Merc with a Mouth. But co-writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick did promise that it would still be populated with “a lot of characters.” We know that a couple of those characters are supposed to be Marvel Comics favorites Cable and Domino, but there’s also room for some of the characters from the first movie to return. Most people got to known Brianna Hildebrand for the very first time through her scene-stealing performance as Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool. But if you were at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, you might have seen her a bit earlier. Hildebrand hit the festival with First Girl I Loved, a tender coming-of-age drama directed by Kerem Sanga (The Young Kieslowski). Hildebrand and Dylan Gelula (best known as Xan on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) play two high school classmates who fall in love, but find their relationship threatened by forces internal and external.
While I did catch the film at Sundance, I didn’t have the opportunity to review this one myself, unfortunately. But pretty soon you’ll be able to judge it for yourself as it’s coming to theaters this fall. Check out the First Girl I Loved trailer below.

Last weekend, 20th Century Fox delivered quite the fun Christmas gift in the form of two Deadpool trailers, a green-band trailer and a preferred, raunchy red-band trailer. Plus, a couple new photos debuted yesterday as well. But if that wasn’t enough Deadpool to tickle your fancy just the way the Merc with a Mouth likes, then this new batch of images from the movie might do the trick. Especially since they seem to create a link to another developing mutant-centric project at Fox.
Check out the photos and find out more below! Read More »
For the days leading up to Christmas, Deadpool has blessed us with the gift of comedy videos in anticipation of his new trailer. And now that Christmas day is here, 20th Century Fox says its time to open our presents:
“Are you in need of holiday cheer? Rejoice! For Deadpool’s all new Christmas trailer is here! It’s Christmas Day, when Deadpool decorates with trailers Red & Green. One that’s “nice” and one that’s “naughty” (the way it’s meant to be seen).”
The Deadpool Christmas trailers play with the idea of a superhero movie, and do a good job of selling this story as something different. We get an extended look at Colossus and a better look at the violent stylized action. Hit the jump now to watch both the new NSFW red band and SFW green band trailers for Deadpool.
