Experience
Mike has been a professional writer for over a decade now. He began his career writing news for IndustryGamers in 2010. Over the years, he's moved from Staff Writer to News Editor, and then Reviews Editor for USgamer. Currently, he's a Reviewer at PCMag. While he plays a whole lot of games for work, his love extends beyond that to comics, movies, and television. He's even a fan of more niche pursuits, like kdrama/cdrama and tokusatsu. All told, you can find Mike's work on Gamesindustry.biz, USgamer, PCMag, Tom's Hardware, and his own personal blog, Into the Discourse on Medium.
Education
Mike attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County, first as a Mechanical Engineer. He eventually moved to English, deciding that his real strength was explaining technical concepts to folks in plain English.
