TMNT: The Last Ronin makes New York Times bestseller list, second printing ordered

IDW has had tremendous success with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin," with the story becoming one of the most beloved in the history of the half-shell heroes. The publisher has revealed that the hardcover collected edition of the book has made The New York Times bestseller list, with the entire initial run of 60,000 copies set to sell out. IDW has also ordered another 100,000 copy print run to meet the demand, so those who haven't picked up a copy yet will still have the chance to do so. Series writer Tom Waltz had this to say:

"When [Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator] Kevin [Eastman] first came to me with the idea of adapting his and Peter's 1987 outline into what became The Last Ronin, I was pretty sure our story had the kind of evergreen legs necessary to be an extremely popular addition to the long-running and multi-faceted TMNT lore. But I never anticipated the immense sales and critical success it would generate. Its popularity has already gone far above and beyond my initial expectations, and I count myself lucky to have been able to be a part of the amazing team that brought it all together for the many fans and retailers who have so quickly and consistently embraced the Ronin-verse. And the craziest thing of all is that we're just getting started!"

"The Last Ronin" is on sale now.

This seven-year-old kid has already written 15 Spider-Man comics

Comic book creator Jarrod Alberich recently took to Twitter to boast about his seven-year-old kid who has apparently taken after his dear old dad. As indicated above, the young Spider-Man fan has already written 15 comics centered on the webhead, and they are apparently 16-page endeavors, each and every one of them. It's nice to see a young kid taking a specific interest in the comics, so much so that they are writing them, as opposed to only being interested in the movies or TV shows. Crafting new source material for the next generation.

Samaritan clip shows us Sylvester Stallone's grizzled superhero

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled a new clip from the upcoming superhero flick "Samaritan," which stars Sylvester Stallone as a grizzled superhero who has been MIA for several years. It is also worth noting that this is an original idea and not based on a comic book, which is pretty interesting. The clip sees Sly's hero taking out a bad guy while a kid looks on with a combination of wonder and horror. Naturally, questions come about as a result. The film, which is directed by Julius Avery ("Overlord") is set to arrive on Prime Video on Friday, August 26. Check out the full clip for yourself above.

Black Panther statue from Marvel's Avengers by PCS

The fine folks at Premium Collectibles Studio have unveiled something of interest to Black Panther fans who have some money to burn and want a limited edition item in their collection. The above statue is modeled after the character from the "Marvel's Avengers" video game and is being limited to an edition of 400, with no more being made beyond that. The 1:3 scale figure is mighty impressive, standing 37.5 inches tall. But this level of detail and exclusivity doesn't come cheap: It retails for $1,405, with the statue expected to ship between December 2022 and February 2023. Those interested can pre-order one now by clicking here.

Check out the poster for the Spider-Man: No Way Home re-release

Sony Pictures is getting ready to re-release "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in theaters later this month, which is good because there aren't many big movies out there to make money right now. The new release is going to come complete with 11 minutes of new footage in what is being labeled the "More Fun Stuff" edition. Well, a new poster (above) has been released in anticipation of tickets going on sale tomorrow. This time around, Sony and Marvel have nothing to hide, with all three Spider-Men up top, in addition to Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. Is it a good poster? That's up for you to decide, but it is an indication that those interested in seeing the film again on the big screen can do so in the near future.

Sorry, Ubisoft is not making a Blade video game

Recently, some rumors began circulating on the ol' internet that Ubisoft was working on a "Blade" video game. Given that we're getting a "Wolverine" game and that we recently got a "Guardians of the Galaxy" game, not to mention the upcoming "Midnight Suns," this didn't seem at all hard to believe — especially with the movie coming together. However, the video game studio recently took to social media to clear up these rumors, stating that they are not actually making the proposed game.

"Sorry to slice up the rumors, we're not making a Blade game but we can't wait to see what our friends at @MarvelStudios are cooking up for next year's movie!"

Now, this is not to say that a "Blade" game isn't happening or that it won't happen, it's just that it's not Ubisoft doing it. So don't lose hope yet.
