Bee has worked as a writer for a little over a decade. Their career first began as a music writer with the now-defunct before transitioning to the editorial arm of Meanwhile, they picked up bylines in country music blog Nashville Gab and BlogCritics. In time, they eventually swam to bigger waters and became a pop writer for Popdust and landed features in Billboard magazine, PopCrush, Paste Magazine,, Holler, and American Songwriter. Later, in 2018, they started writing extensively about horror film, first doing an extensive 40-year retrospective on the "Halloween" franchise and going on to write for Bloody Disgusting, Certified Forgotten, and Dread Central.
