Upcoming Brad Pitt Movies To Keep On Your Radar

Brad Pitt has had a long, storied career in Hollywood, dating back to his "Sexiest Man Alive" days in the '90s when he was starring in movies like "Interview With the Vampire." These days, he's still fresh off an Oscar win for "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood." The man has stayed busy for several decades, consistently churning out incredible work, both as a producer and actor. Luckily, his career is arguably going better than ever, and he's got several big movies on the way over the next couple of years. We're here to give you the lowdown on several of his upcoming movies that you should have on your radar.

The Lost City

"The Lost City," previously going under the title "The Lost City of D," is an upcoming adventure/comedy with an A-list cast from filmmakers Aaron and Adam Nee. Brad Pitt is just part of the impressive ensemble, which is led by Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. The movie centers on a romance novelist (Bullock) who is on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum). They find themselves in the midst of a kidnapping attempt that ultimately lands them smack-dab in the middle of a wild jungle adventure. Hailing from Paramount Pictures, the movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2022. Patti Harrison, Oscar Nunez, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Daniel Radcliffe also star.

Bullet Train

For this writer's money, "Bullet Train" may well be one of the biggest movies to keep on your radar in 2022, and not just because of Pitt. Directed by David Leitch ("Deadpool 2"), the action flick boasts a killer ensemble and is based on the acclaimed book of the same name by Kotaro Isaka. The movie centers on a group of assassins stuck together on a train. The cast, led by Pitt, also includes Joey King ("The Kissing Booth"), Andrew Koji ("Warrior"), Brian Tyree Henry ("Godzilla vs. Kong"), Michael Shannon ("Knives Out"), Zazie Beetz ("Joker"), Aaron Taylor-Johnson ("Tenet"), Hiroyuki Sanada ("Mortal Kombat"), Benito A Martinez Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny, and, interestingly enough, Sandra Bullock again. So we get not one, but two movies with Pitt and Bullock in 2022. "Bullet Train" is currently scheduled to hit theaters on April 8, 2022 from Sony Pictures.

Babylon

Here we have yet another stacked ensemble flick from an acclaimed director. "Babylon" serves as "La La Land" director Damien Chazelle's follow-up to "First Man" and will reunite Pitt with his "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood" co-star Margot Robbie, as well as a slew of other big names. Olivia Wilde ("Rush"), Tobey Maguire ("Spider-Man"), Samara Weaving ("Ready Or Not"), Jean Smart ("Watchmen"), Katherine Waterston ("Alien: Covenant"), Spike Jonze ("Her"), and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame, among others, round out the impressive cast. While much remains unknown at this time, the movie is said to be a Hollywood period piece. This has Oscars written all over it and is well worth putting on your radar.

Untitled George Clooney/Jon Watts Movie

Last, but certainly not least, we have perhaps the most intriguing project on Pitt's slate. We recently learned that the Oscar-winner is set to reunite with his old pal and fellow Oscar-winner George Clooney onscreen for a new movie directed by Jon Watts ("Spider-Man: Homecoming"). The two previously starred together in "Ocean's Eleven" and its sequels, making this a major reunion. The project was the subject of a huge bidding war, which Apple ultimately won. While much remains mysterious as of this writing, including the title, the movie is said to center on "two lone-wolf fixers assigned to the same job." There is no word yet on a release date but Apple is said to be giving it a wide theatrical release.
