The Toy Box: Star Trek, Bill & Ted, Power Rangers, Nightmare Before Christmas, Voltron & More

The Toy Box is a weekly feature at /Film that will round up some of the newest and coolest collectibles, decorations, gadgets and other memorabilia that you nerds might want for your shelves.

This week we've got some new Star Trek goodies for the 50th anniversary, including a new Barbie doll set and an exclusive bobbelhead diorama coming to San Diego Comic-Con. In addition, there's a great new Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure movie set that comes with an action figure of George Carlin as Rufus, new Funko POP Vinyls for Power Rangers and Preacher, and a few new Star Wars items, including a couple featuring BB-8.

The Empire Strikes Back - Kotobukiya's ARTFX+ Yoda and R2-D2 Statue 2-Pack

The smaller characters from the Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back get their own 1/10 scale statues. For $59.99 you'll get a Yoda that stands at 2.5 inches and a dirty, swampy R2-D2 standing at 3.5 inches. In addition, a translucent spirit Yoda figure will come with the pack as a bonus figure.

Interchangeable parts allow for varying poses including R2-D2 being able to stand on either two or three legs or Yoda having his arms crossed or reaching out to use the Force to pull Luke's X-Wing out of the swamp.

The set is available for pre-order at Kotobikiya right now and is scheduled for release in November.

Conan the Barbarian - Pop Culture Shock Collectibles Classic and War Paint Statues

Conan the Barbarian is getting not one but two new collectible statues from Pop Culture Shock Collectibles. The company's president Jerry Macaluso says, "When you think 'Barbarian' you think 'Conan,' and when you think Conan you think Arnold. There would be no clemency given for this one, the likeness had to be flawless. And I think we nailed it. I'd hold it up with the best Schwarzenegger pieces ever made."

The one on the left is the classic version that will have an edition of 325 pieces and will cost you $849.99 while the one on the left is the war paint variant limited to 275 pieces that will cost you $899.99. Both statues are 1/3 scale standing at 29 inches tall with fabric clothing and a metal sword. If you want, you can order them as a set for $1750.00 and both of their edition numbers will match. But only 75 sets like that will be sold.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - Bradford Exchange Cuckoo Clock

Tim Burton's classic The Nightmare Before Christmas comes to life in this cuckoo clock from The Bradford Exchange. Every hour, on the hour, there are lights, motion and music with characters from the stop-motion animated movie directed by Henry Selick. When the cuckoo clock chimes, "This Is Halloween" sounds instead with Zero popping in and out of Town Hall. Jack and Sally have their own space on the clock while Lock, Shock and Barrel sit down at the bottom.

The Bradford Exchange has the clock available right now for $199.95.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - BB-8 Teapot

How would you like the most adorable droid in the galaxy to serve you tea? That's exactly what you can do with this new 32-ounce teapot that is made to look like Poe Dameron's trusty droid. What's cool about the new teapot is that the pot itself sits inside of a teacup that you can use to serve yourself. Entertainment Earth has the BB-8 teapot on sale now for $39.99 but it won't ship until October.

Alien - Facehugger Ski Mask

If may be summer, but it's never too soon to prepeare to keep yourself warm this winter. Or maybe you have a little icy getaway planned sometime in the near future. If that's the case, and you need a way to keep your face warm on the slopes, why not spice up your ski attire with this Alien ski mask that makes it look like you have a facehugger latching onto your head. It'll cost you $29.99 at Entertainment Earth and will ship in October.

The Big Bang Theory - Entertainment Earth's Sheldon Action Figures

If you're looking to have an action figure of the awkward nerd Sheldon from the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, then Entertainment Earth has your wish granted not one, not twice, but three times.

From Biff Bang Pow! comes three different 3.75 inch action figures of Jim Parsons as Sheldon. Each different figure has Sheldon wearing a t-shirt featuring The Riddler, Shazam or Superman logos. The figures aren't the most pretty creations, but they have five points of articulation and the same cheap cardboard diorama of Sheldon's living room.

Voltron - Sideshow Collectibles Lion Voltron Maquette

Sideshow Collectibles is assembling Voltron with a 27 inch tall maquette bringing to life the newly designed take on the Lion Voltron. This one is super-detailed, battle damaged and has LED light up eyes for the black lion and Voltron heads. The swoard can be removed so you can display Voltron without his weapon, but where's the fun in that?

Now for the bad news: this Voltron maquette is going to cost you $1,250. If you've got the money, it's available for pre-order right now over at the Sideshow Collectibles website.

Star Wars - Death Star and AT-AT Wooden Bookends

If you've got a whole load of Star Wars books that you need organized, these wooden bookends from MokuShop on Etsy are just for you. Modeled after the Galactic Empire's Death Star and AT-AT, these are painted to look like the space station and vehicle that inspired them and will cost $69 each. However, if you'd rather have them as plain wood instead, you can get them for $59 each instead.

Star Trek: The Original Series - "Amok Time" Bobble Heads

Entertainment Earth has this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive arriving this summer paying tribute to one of the most iconic moments from Star Trek: The Original Series. Inspired by the "Amok Time" episode when Captain Kirk and Spock are forced to fight each other, this bobblehead diorama measures 7 inches tall and 4.75 inches wide.

There are only 2,502 pieces available, each individually numbers with a holographic sticker. It will first be sold at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343, but if you pre-order at their website, you could end up with leftovers, if any remain after the convention.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Jakks Pacific BB-8 18-inch Deluxe Figure

Meant to match up with the 31-inch scale figure line, Jakks Pacific has an 18-inch deluxe figure of the ball droid BB-8 coming in July. This version of the droid comes with lights and sounds, a swiveling head, and a hidden trap door with a spring-loaded arm with that awesome thumbs up lighter. Entertainment Earth has it on sale for $59.99 and it will ship in July.

Peacher - Funko POP Vinyl Exclusives

In addition to their main line of Preacher POP Vinyl figures, Funko also has a small batch of exclusives hitting certain retailers. There will be a new version of Jesse Custer available at GameStop, a bloody version of Cassidy available at Hot Topic and finally, a Tulip POP Vinyl from PX Previews. Keep an eye out at each retailer to get our hands on them in August.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - Shout Factory's Most Excellent Collection

George Carlin may have left us some time ago, but his role as Rufus from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (and Bogus Journey) still lives on. And now he can sit on your shelf with a new 8 inch figure from NECA that comes as part of Shout Factory's Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Collection.

The Blu-Ray collection includes both movies from the sci-fi comedy franchise, the Rufus figure, an 18x24 inch lithograph designed by Paul Shipper (which will be shipped rolled in a poster tube), two 6x4 inch stickers and a Wyld Stallyns guitar pick. That's definitely a most excellent collection, and you can pre-order it right now for $79.99 at Shout Factory.

Star Wars - Beast Kingdom Egg Attack R2-D2 and C-3PO

Adding to their Egg Attack Action line, Beast Kingdom has unveiled two new figures for R2-D2 and C-3PO. These may look like simple figures, but they're pretty pricey at $189.99 at Entertainment Earth. R2-D2 has three extending arms, one extending life scanner, and one extending periscope, not to mention light-up function in the display, processor state indicators, and holographic projector function, including one for Princess Leia. Meanwhile C-3PO can have all his limbs scattered as if he were blown apart like in the Empire Strikes Back.

Star Trek - 50th Anniversary Barbie Dolls

Celebrating 50 years of going boldy where no man has gone before, Mattel is releasing a new set of Star Trek Barbie dolls for Captain Kirk, Spock and Uhura. They're all dressed in the original series Federation clothing and aren't too expensive, retailing at $34.95. They'll be on store shelves later this month according to Entertainment Weekly.

Mike Tyson Mysteries - Mike Tyson Pin Mate

Designed in a retro style, Bif Bang Pow! has created a Mike Tyson Pin Mate inspired by the Adult Swim animated series Mike Tyson Mysteries. The wooden 2-inch figure is hand-painted and also features decals to create the blue and white sweatsuit that Tyson wears on the show, this time with red boxing gloves.

You'll only be able to get your hands on this figure for $4.99 at San Diego Comic-Con, unless there's any leftover, in which case you can pre-order now and hope there's leftovers.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Funko POP Vinyl Power Rangers

After releasing the Red Ranger, Pink Ranger and White Ranger awhile back (which are now extremely rare), Funko is releasing the rest of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers this August. The fan favorite Green Ranger is finally on the way along with the Black Ranger, Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger. Hopefully you've got the other figures to complete the collection.
