cursed cast

Katherine Langford is boarding another Netflix series. After becoming the breakout star of 13 Reasons Why — in which she was so good that the teen drama kept finding excuses to bring her dead character back in season 2 — Langford has been cast in the Frank Miller Netflix series, Cursed.

Langford is the first to join the Cursed cast, taking on the lead role of a “teenage heroine with a mysterious gift” in the YA twist on the King Arthur legend.

13 Reasons Why season 2 trailer

The official 13 Reasons Why season 2 trailer is here, and things look darker than ever at Liberty High. The high school students are all still reeling from the aftermath of Hannah Baker’s (Katherine Langford) death and the vindictive tapes that she left behind pointing fingers at the perpetrators. And it looks like the tapes won’t be the only anonymous ’90s technology that will take the school by storm this season.

love simon trailer

Teen romance movies are a dime a dozen, but Love, Simon has the benefit of being a major teen romance film revolving around a gay character. Sure, plenty of indie films and prestige flicks have explored the heartache of young gay love or the excruciating fear of coming out, but have any of them done it to an upbeat pop soundtrack? Not many.

13 reasons why season 2

Over the weekend, I binge-watched all thirteen episodes of Netflix’s new series 13 Reasons Why.

You may have watched the trailer for 13 Reasons Why and quickly discounted it as another forgettable YA adaptation, but I assure you, the series is worth your time. It has episodes directed by Oscar-winning director Tom McCarthy (Spotlight, The Visitor), Gregg Araki (Mysterious Skin, The Doom Generation), Jessica Yu (American Dreams, Ping Pong Playa), among others. And since it’s adapted from a book, it feels more like a 13-hour movie than a 13 episode TV series (and this is a case where this is a good thing).

When 13 Reasons Why ends, it leaves us with some questions and lingering storylines that make me wonder if the series could return for more, even if the source material has already been brought to the main screen. Let’s explore the unanswered questions and discuss if there are plans for a 13 Reasons Why Season 2.
