Hotel Artemis Review

Set in a world reiminiscent of John Wick, our story unfolds in and around a hotel for criminals ran by Jodie Foster. She’s surrounded by an ensemble that includes the likes of Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista. But is that enough to make for a praiseworthy action flick?

Animated Spider-Man cast

Amid all the hubbub about Phil Lord and Chris Miller leaving the Han Solo movie, I’d completely forgotten that they were involved with an animated Spider-Man film across town at Sony Pictures Animation. That project just scored a couple of solid additions to its voice cast, as Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) and actor Brian Tyree Henry (who plays rapper Paper Boi on Donald Glover’s FX series Atlanta) have officially come on board. Atlanta is the first television series Donald Glover (Community) has created. He produces, writes, and stars on the show, which he also directed two episodes of. Glover’s first very own series is off to a great start. The reviews are glowing, and the audience response is about as enthusiastic. If you don’t have FX or haven’t had a chance to watch the pilot yet on Amazon or wherever else, then luckily for you, the first episode has been made available to watch online for free.
