#6. Dwayne Johnson Returning for Fast and Furious 8

This is a no-brainer, but Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that he will be back for Fast and Furious 8. The film is already scheduled for release in April of 2017, but that’s really all we know about the sequel so far. Johnson also discussed the possibility of a spin-off film focused on his character Hobbs, but to get details on that, you’ll have to read the original report.

#5. Phil Lord Talks Animated Spider-Man Movie & The Flash

One half of the directing duo behind The LEGO Movie and 21 Jump Street opened up about their forthcoming comic book projects at Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. Phil Lord & Chris Miller are developing a standalone animated Spider-Man movie at Sony while also working on the story for The Flash in the DC Comics universe. However, Lord reveals that both movies will have a style all their own, with little influence from the comic book worlds around them. Even The Flash is said to be much different than what will be happening in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and other DC Comics movies. #4. First Images from Warcraft Movie Show Orgrim the Orc

The first official images of Orgrim Doomhammer, the lead orc in the big screen adaptation of Warcraft, surfaced earlier this week. He’s a motion-capture character, and if these stills are any indicator, he’s going to look incredible. See another photo over here.

#3. David Letterman Says Goodbye to The Late Show

Everyone was talking about the last episode of The Late Show with David Letterman this week. Bill Murray popped out of a cake, Norm Macdonald gave a touching tribute and Adam Sandler sang a silly song.
