She started out writing reviews for 148Apps and eventually went on to co-found her own board game news and reviews website, Gameosity. Along the way, she has contributed to numerous geek entertainment sites and made a name for herself in the tabletop gaming community for her work. Jessica joined SlashFilm in 2022 so she could share her love of film and television.

Jessica received her bachelors degree in cinema from Binghamton University, where she presented original works in the yearly film festival. She was also named president of the Television Club at SUNY Delhi, where she received an associates degree in English.
