See 'Get Out' For Free In Select AMC Theatres Locations On Presidents' Day

Get Out has seriously gone the distance. February 24 will mark one year since the film has been released, and just over a week after that we'll see the directorial debut from Jordan Peele vying for Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture. That's a rare feat for a film that hit theaters so early in the qualifying year, especially a horror movie, and that calls for a celebration.

Universal Pictures and Jordan Peele are thanking fans for their support over the past year by teaming with AMC Theatres for special free screenings of Get Out on Presidents' Day this month, February 19. So if you somehow haven't caught the compelling and masterful horror thriller, now's your chance. Get more details on the AMC Theatres free Get Out screenings below.

Here's the announcement from the official Get Out account on Twitter:

There isn't a comprehensive list of participating theaters available, but there are 55 different locations across the United States hosting these free screenings, all at 7pm local time. Guests will able to request one free ticket each at the theater on the day of the screening. You can head to the official #GetOutOneYearLater promotional website to find the participating theater closest to you.

Plenty have championed Get Out over the past year, and it's nice to see a movie so deserving of acclaim receive the recognition it deserves at the Academy Awards. But beyond the Hollywood elite giving this movie praise, fans have come out in droves to show their love for the movie. Many of those fans are artistically inclined themselves, and Jordan Peele wanted to show his appreciation for them too:

Make sure to tune into the Academy Awards on ABC on March 5, 2018 to see if Get Out wins big.
