Succession Season 3 - Everything We Know So Far

"Succession," the popular HBO show about the rich family you love to hate, is set to come back for a third season. Read on for details on when and where you can watch the Roys destroy anyone and everyone in their path, including fellow family members.

Season 3 of "Succession," like the two seasons before it, will air on HBO. The specific date is still unknown, but the show's Twitter page has confirmed it will be some time in October 2021:

"Succession" follows the travails of the Roys, a family whose patriarch, Logan Roy, runs a massive media corporation and is a major a-hole to his kids. His kids aren't much better, and the siblings along with the father go at each other in ways large and small in hopes of gaining power and control within the company. The end of season 2 had Logan's son, Kendall, ambushing his father in a way that makes Logan none too happy.

Here's the official logline for season 3:

"Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of season two, Logan Roy begins season three in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war."

Jesse Armstrong created "Succession" and is the showrunner. Other regular writers on the series are Susan Soon He Stanton and Alice Birch. Mark Mylod has directed 10 of the show's episodes, more than any other director.

"Succession" is an ensemble show in every sense of the word. It stars Brian Cox as Logan Roy, Nicholas Braun as Greg Hirsch, Sarah Snook as Shiv Roy, Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, Kieran Culkin as Roman Roy, Hiam Abbass as Marcia Roy, Peter Friedman as Frank Vernon, Matthew Macfadyen as Tom Wambsgans, Alan Ruck as Connor Roy, Rob Yang as Lawrence Yee, and J. Smith-Cameron as Gerri Kellman.
