2020 Golden Globes Winners: '1917' And Sam Mendes Are Surprise Victors, 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' Gets Love Too

The 77th Golden Globes kicked the new year with plenty of glitz and glamor by honoring achievements in film and television. Chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press (which consists of roughly 90 members), the nominees and winners of the Golden Globes don't offer as much insight into who might be in the running for Academy Awards, but it's still a celebratory night for Hollywood that brings attention to movies and TV shows that deserve our praise.

1917 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood walked away with the big film prizes, including a win for Sam Mendes as director and Quentin Tarantino as writer. The former made quite a surprise getaway with big awards, confusing many who had their money on The Irishman, Joker or Marriage Story. Get the rest of the 2020 Golden Globes winners below.
