2018 Razzies Beat A Dead Horse By Giving 'The Emoji Movie' Worst Picture & More Awards

Since 1981, the Golden Raspberry Awards, better known as the Razzies, have been leading the way in nominating movies they consider to be the worst of the worst Hollywood has to offer. After all this time, the joke has kind of run its course, especially when the Razzies simply pick easy targets and don't really bring much to the table when it comes to discussing the quality of cinema. But it's Oscar weekend, so the "winners" of the awards honoring the worst in cinema have been announced, and the people want to know.

The 2018 Razzies winners have been crowned, and The Emoji Movie walked away with Worst Picture, the highest honors given by the Golden Raspberry Awards. But those weren't the only awards won by the mindless, uninspired Sony Pictures Animation project. Find out all the honors The Emoji Movie rightfully and easily earned in the full 2018 Razzies winners list below.

Here's how the 2018 Razzies winners were announced through their official YouTube channel:

So there you go. The Emoji Movie won Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, Worst Director and Worst Screen Combo. Honestly though, I'm not sure that it was that much wore than The Mummy. That movie didn't go home empty-handed, but Tom Cruise was hardly the worst part of that movie. But again, that's just another reminder why the Razzies really don't matter.
