Mondo Honors Alfred Hitchcock With His Own Collectible Figure And New Prints
There are plenty of action figures for the heroes of movies out there, but filmmakers don't get the merchandise they deserve. Mondo is hoping to change that by giving legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock his own sixth scale collectible figure.
The Alfred Hitchcock figure was first announced back in 2014 when Mondo revealed they were venturing into the collectible toy market. Now the figure is finally available for purchase, and if you need some convincing that it's worth the price tag, there are some awesome shots of the collectible after the jump.
However, if you're not in the market to drop some cash on an expensive filmmaker toy, maybe you'd rather get some more collectible artwork for your walls, this time for some of Alfred Hitchcock's movies. Check out Mondo's new Alfred Hitchcock offerings after the jump.
First up, here's a batch of photos of the Alfred Hitchcock figure from Mondo:
Trevor Grove and Michael Norman created the approximately 12-inch figure out of PVC, ABS and fabric and it comes with a director's chair, 2 cigars (one unlit, one lit), raven, clapboard, butcher knife, and four interchangeable hands to hold the various items. The figure goes on sale at 1pm ET/12pm CT today for $185. If you don't have all that money right now, Mondo now has a payment play you can enter by way of the payment app Partial.ly, now integrated into the site.
Additionally, if you order the website exclusive version of the figure for $190, it'll come with the seagull you see above.
Along with the release of the Alfred Hitchcock figure, Mondo announced these new prints for Vertigo and The Birds. They went on sale this morning, so see if you can still get one.

Those are some pretty sweet items for the Hitchcock fans out there. I wouldn't mind a Steven Spielberg collectible figure at some point, but there's no indication that any other filmmakers will get figures like this. We can only dream.
