'The Wolf Of Wall Street' Trailer: Becoming A Legend

The second trailer from Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street may not have the propulsive drive of the first, which was powered by Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead,' but it does have a few oh-so-perfect shots of Leonardo DiCaprio reacting to the insane wealth and resulting lifestyle his character enjoys. It's a gif wonderland, this trailer. The fist-bite shot above is just one example.

Here we see DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, who with an eager beaver assistant played by Jonah Hill (wearing some massive false choppers) builds a young, go-getting brokerage firm. They make more cash than they know what do do with; trouble is, most of what they're doing is totally illegal. Oops. The feds show up, of course, but not before this tale of Wall Street hubris really plays in the sandbox of insane wealth.

It all looks deliberately exaggerated and more than bit over the top, but seeing Scorsese and DiCaprio in a mode this lively is a joy to behold.

The Wolf of Wall Street opens on December 25. At a reported two-hour forty-five minute running time, there'll be a lot to take in. Apple has the trailer.
