Stranger Things 2 Visual Effects

In this edition, the team behind the visual effects of the second season of Stranger Things breaks down some of the scenes from the series. Plus, Jeff Goldblum acts out a bunch of different characters from the original Jurassic Park and Westworld executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy participate in a discussion about the second season finale for BFI.

First up, in this long overdue edition of Notes on a Scene from Vanity Fair, visual effects supervisor Paul Graff and visual effects producer Christina Graff discuss the various post-production elements that went into creating the creatures and other supernatural elements of the hit Netflix series, including the demodog Dart and the final fight between Eleven and the shadow monster.

Next up, Westworld executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy sat down for a Q&A with the British Film Institute to talk about the second season finale of the HBO series. The duo discuss the pressure of keeping a tight lid on the secrets of the show and hint a little bit where Delores, The Man in Black and Bernard are headed in the third season.

Finally, Jeff Goldblum has reciting lines from Jurassic Park from the rest of the characters that he didn’t play. In fact, he makes a damn good case for why we need a movie where Jeff Goldlbum plays every character. It would be glorious and make an infinite amount of money.
