Second 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Trailer: Groot Speaks!

The second Guardians of the Galaxy trailer is online. It has many more character beats, and the first utterance of "I am Groot!" that we've heard from voice actor Vin Diesel. Check it out below.

Before the trailer debuted, many cast members took part in a Facebook Q&A, along with director James Gunn.

Most of the questions revealed little about the film, but Gunn did confirm that his old Troma boss Lloyd Kaufman will have a cameo in the film, and that the "most beautiful" scene in the film is a Groot scene. (It could well be the one in the trailer, with Groot and the little girl.) Gunn also said, with respect to his influences when making the film, " One of the biggest influences was – and no one is going to expect this answer – Magritte's Empire of Light paintings."

Guardians of the Galaxy opens on August 1. Trailer via Facebook.
