Everyone Relax: Christopher Lloyd (And Ving Rhames And Paul Scheer) Returning For 'Piranha 3DD'

Briefly: Now, finally, we can all breathe a tremendous sigh of relief. Just when it looked like Piranha 3DD might be a contractually-obligated sequel with a mostly uninspiring cast, we now know that it will probably be a coffer-filling sequel with a slightly more entertaining cast. Because Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames and Paul Scheer have all agreed to reprise their roles. Paul Scheer was actually supposed to die in the first film, but that scene was cut, so movie magic, in addition to contractual magic, means that he gets to fight fish another day. How does the Ving Rhames character return? Uh...a twin? Android replicant? Rapid cloning, perhaps?

Cameras are in or near the water in North Carolina right now, with a November release date set. The first film had some silly gore that went so far over the top that I couldn't help but laugh. Hopefully under the direction of John Gulager (Feast) this one will go even further into blood-red waters.
