Paper Towns Trailer #2: "Get Lost, Get Found"

Fox 2000 Pictures has released a new trailer for Paper Towns, the new mystery romantic drama following a young man and his friends who go on the "road trip of their lives to find the missing girl next door." I'm mainly interested in this film because it was written by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, the screenwriters behind (500) Days of Summer and The Spectacular Now. I also enjoyed director Jake Schreier's first feature Robot & Frank when I caught it at Sundance a few years back.

Paper Towns Trailer #2

I like how the film at first looks like your typical high school coming of age film or young adult adaptation, but half way through the trailer takes a turn into something so much more interesting. Besides, who doesn't like a good mystery story or road trip movie?

Directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, Paper Towns is based upon the book by John Green. The drama stars Nat Wolff, Cara Delevingne, Austin Abrams, Halston Sage and Justice Smith. Here is the official plot synopsis:

Adapted from the bestselling novel by author John Green ("The Fault in Our Stars"), PAPER TOWNS is a coming-of-age story centering on Quentin and his enigmatic neighbor Margo, who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears–leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship–and true love.

Fox 2000's PAPER TOWNS will hit theaters on July 24, 2015.
