New 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' Trailer And Character Posters

The second we heard Matthew Vaughn was doing a new Mark Millar comic book movie, we got excited. With each new piece of information, that interest continues to build. Now, Kingsman The Secret Service is entering the final stages of its marketing leading up to a February 13 release and word on the film continues to build. Not only is there a brand new trailer for the film, which stars Colin Firth as a dapper secret agent training a new recruit, we've got some evocative characters posters as well featuring Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and a cute pug named Jack Bauer. Check it all out below.

Thanks to Empire for the new Kingsman trailer.

I must say, that's my favorite trailer for the film yet. Self-reference, pop culture awareness, puppies, Mark Hamill and lots of Samuel L. Jackson. And that's not even part of the main plot of the film. That involves the Firth character, a seasoned veteran, recruiting a tough new recruit (Taron Egerton) to join the team. So it's basically an origin story as well as a story of this group of secret agents saving the world with a bunch of cool gadgets and Matthew Vaughn action scenes.

Here are some James Bond inspired character posters, too, via the IMDB.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn with a script by Jane Goldman & Matthew Vaughn, based upon the comic book by Mark Millar & Dave Gibbons, Kingsman The Secret Service stars Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Taron Egerton, and Samuel L. Jackson. It opens February 13. You can read some early buzz about the film at this link and here's the official synopsis:
Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class),Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
