'Kingsman: The Secret Service' Red-Band Trailer

Now that the buzz surrounding Spectre has calmed down a bit, it's time to check in on 2015's other action-packed thriller about a suave British spy with a taste for finely tailored suits and outrageously advanced gadgets. Fox has just released a new red-band trailer for Kingsman: The Secret Service, starring Colin Firth as a secret agent who recruits a street kid (Taron Egerton) into the service.

Matthew Vaughn is directing the film based on a Mark Millar comic, and we all remember how much fun we had the last time that happened. Kingsman: The Secret Service seems to be cut from the same crazy, bloody, "fuck"-filled cloth. Watch the Kingsman The Secret Service red band trailer after the jump. IGN premiered the Kingsman The Secret Service red band trailer.

The new trailer reveals a whole bunch of new material, including way more footage of Eggsy (Egerton) after his transformation into a Kingsman. The old-man glasses suit his face better than I would have guessed. Actually, they make him a dead ringer for a young Colin Firth.

As with Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service may not be everyone's cup of tea. Early word is it's "hyper-violent," "ridiculously entertaining," and "utterly demented, mostly in a good way." But if you fell for Kick-Ass, you'll likely love Kingsman: The Secret Service too. At any rate, it looks much better than that Kick-Ass sequel that disappointed everyone last year.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is out February 13, 2015. Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, Sofia Boutella, and Sophie Cookson also star.

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
