VOTD: How 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Should Have Ended, As Written By The Fans

This summer was full of sequels, but one of the more critically panned follow-ups came from 20th Century Fox in the form of X-Men: Apocalypse. While there were undoubtedly plenty of entertaining attributes, there were still plenty of shortcomings to be found. Therefore, the folks at How It Should Have Ended have plenty of fuel for the fire in their latest installment. And for better or worse, this time a bunch of fans of the web series had input on how X-Men Apocalypse should have ended. Watch below!

Above you'll see the choosing of the Four Horseman mocked, including the fact that it seems pretty superfluous of a concept to have Apocalypse only choose four mutants to help him. But of course, the worst part of seeing this concept executed is that somehow Angel is worthy of being one of the mutants he chooses, even though almost any other mutant would be more powerful and helpful than him.

Meanwhile, there's a perfectly fantastic idea to have Deadpool be the hidden experimental mutant who is unleashed to help young Jean Grey, Cyclops and Nightcrawler at the Alkali Lake Base. I sincerely hope someone at Fox had the foresight to shoot an alternate cut of that scene with Ryan Reynolds at Deadpool. It would be a great way to help us to continue to forget about X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

However, my favorite part was having the superior version of Quicksilver head over to The Avengers: Age of Ultron to save the other Quicksilver from getting taken down in a hail of bullets.
