'Back To The Future' Returning To Theaters For Two Nights In October

There's a chance that many of our readers weren't able to see Back to the Future upon the film's original release in 1985, in which case you'll be happy to know that the AMC theater chain will be showing a digitally remastered presentation of the film in late October, to celebrate the film's 25th anniversary. Details after the break.

AMC is going to be holding 2 special screenings of the digitally remastered Back to the Future on 158 screens across 40 cities. The screenings will take place Saturday October 23rd at 12:30PM and Monday October 25th at 7:00PM. The latter, AMC notes, being the night Marty went back in time.

A press release announces that "all guests will receive a full-sized poster commemorating the 25th anniversary limited release of the movie with their ticket purchase, while supplies last." I suppose the poster is nice, but seeing a good presentation of the movie on the big screen is even better. I dimly recall the first time I saw the film in a theater (ahem, opening weekend in '85) and am looking forward to catching it on the big screen once more.
