Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser trailer

On Wednesday, March 9, Lucasfilm released the teaser trailer for the upcoming "Obi-Wan Kenobi" limited series, streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting on May 25. In the trailer, which you can view above, we see Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) on an adventure set 10 years after the events of "Star Wars: The Revenge of the Sith." Also glimpsed in the trailer: The Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend) and Fifth Brother (Sung Kang) from "Star Wars Rebels," a new inquisitor — Third Sister, AKA Reva (Moses Ingram), Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton), and a young Luke Skywalker!

Star Wars Celebration tickets on sale March 15

ReedPop, the organizers behind Star Wars Celebration 2022, announced that a limited quantity of tickets is going back on sale on March 15 at 9:00 AM PT. Taking place in Anaheim, California on May 26-29, Star Wars Celebration offers attendees "major announcements, immersive exhibits, an interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions," and much, much more! The organizers have also announced some new health and safety guidelines for the convention, when you can read about below:

In order to provide the best and safest fan experience possible, Star Wars Celebration 2022 will require proof of full vaccination for age 5+ from an FDA or WHO approved or authorized vaccine. For attendees under age 5, we will require proof of a negative test with a timestamp showing it was performed no more than 1 day before admission (antigen) or 2 days before admission (PCR). Every attendee will be required to wear an approved face covering at all times while attending the show. We've taken proactive steps and implemented guidelines based on public health guidance to help support a safe and comfortable experience. Our team is constantly reviewing the Star Wars Celebration requirements. Please check our Health and Safety page often for the most up-to-date information.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC packs

WB Games recently confirmed details about downloadable content (DLC) packs for "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga," which is set to be released on April 5 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Seven DLC packs are planned for the game, including characters centered around "The Mandalorian," "Rogue One, Solo: A Star Wars Story," and "The Bad Batch," as well as classic characters and Stormtroopers, all of which will be available for purchase between April 5 and May 4. Here's the breakdown:

  • "The Mandalorian" Season 1 – April 5: Din Djarin, Grogu (non-playable), Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11 and Kuiil
  • "Solo: A Star Wars Story" – April 5: Young Han Solo, young Chewbacca, young Lando Calrissian, Qi'ra, Tobias Beckett and Enfys Nest
  • Classic Characters – April 5 (with pre-orders), April 19 (wide): Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian
  • Trooper Pack – April 5 (with pre-orders), May 4 (wide): Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper and Mimban Stormtrooper
  • "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" – April 19: Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus and Director Krennic
  • "The Mandalorian" Season 2 – May 4: Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand and Moff Gideon
  • "The Bad Batch" – May 4: Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and Echo

Marvel's upcoming Star Wars comics

In "Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy" #2, written by Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Will Sliney with a cover by E.M. Gist, the Palliduvan bounty hunter Aurra Sing takes a job as private security for a gambler in debt to the Hutts aboard a luxury passenger liner.

StarWars.com has an exclusive first look at the upcoming issue, which arrives March 16, as well this month's other releases, including "Star Wars: Crimson Reign" #3, "Star Wars: The High Republic: Eye of the Storm" #2, "Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca," "Star Wars: Doctor Aphra," "Star Wars: Bounty Hunters," "Star Wars: Darth Vader," and more!
