Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon is currently in theaters and available for an extra price on Disney+. But soon it'll be even more readily available – via an upcoming digital and Blu-ray release. The animated fantasy-adventure film is headed to all major digital platforms in April before it makes its way to 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD in May. Get the full details and see the special features below.
Raya and the Last Dragon is a fun flick, and features some truly stunning animation. It didn't exactly blow-up at the box office for obvious reasons, but I think the film will age nicely. While Raya is currently available to rent on Disney+, it will likely eventually be available there to regular subscribers as well. But for those of you who are still clinging to physical media, you'll be able to scoop the film up on disc very soon. The Raya and the Last Dragon Blu-ray (as well as DVD and 4K release) is scheduled for May 18, while a digital release is planned for April 2. This home media release comes with plenty of special features, including deleted scenes. Here's what's included.

In Raya and the Last Dragon, "Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans, and dragons lived together in harmony. But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it's up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good. Raya was directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, and co-directors Paul Briggs and John Ripa, and features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya and Awkwafina as Sisu. In her review for /Film, Hoai-Tran Bui wrote: "So, does Raya and the Last Dragon give us a dose of that good old Disney magic? The Southeast Asian-flavored epic may not be quite the apex of representation that it wishes to be, but it gives us Disney magic of a new variety: one that is thrilling, and textured, and gives us a heroine with honeyed skin and a fascinating flaws who will be the favorite Disney Princess for a whole generation of Southeast Asian kids."
